Dear LVSA Members:
Our Friend the Wind was diligent today in teaching us about dealing with switching directions and varying intensities. Lessons in dealing with direction changes were especially prevalent during the final hour of the match.
We call the Wind our Friend because she presents so many opportunities to learn. Just like a true friend would.
Thirty-seven matches, all with scopes, were logged in today’s Summer Solstice edition of the club’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Fun Shoots.
We welcomed one new shooter today, Isaac Rather, the grandson of Dudley Irvine. Isaac is visiting from Indiana through mid-July. We hope to see him on the firing line every Monday before he returns home.
My thanks as always to the helpers and the shooters. Once again an educational, but good time never the less was had by all.
