Dear Mid-Range Shooters and Other LVSA Members:
The 5th of this season’s eight Mid-Range Challenges saw a record number of matches logged; 23 in the first round, 15 in the second. These events are getting more popular as the shooting community becomes aware of them. Congratulations to all the competitors. Thanks for spreading the word.
The temperature was warm, typical for mid-July in Wyoming. The wind was a challenge, especially in round two. But a good time was had by all who tested their equipment and skill on the firing line.
Many thanks to all who helped with set-up, take-down, did pit duty, cleaned up, scored, etc. Cooperation and helping hands makes things run smoothly. The 38 matches were completed in just over 3 1/2 hours.
The next Mid-Range challenge will be held on Sunday August 6. Make your plans now. Watch your email for details.
