Dear Mid-Range Challengers and their Fans, Friends, and Foes:
BREAKING NEWS: Long time Mid-Range Challenge Match Director Bruce Campbell announced that this will be his last season in that capacity. He will still be on board as a helper and of course as a participant. Bruce deserves a well-earned “thank you” from the club for his work with this series.
MATCH REPORT: Cool morning temperatures gave way to the low 90’s by noon for the eighth and final scheduled Mid-Range Challenge of the 2017 season. Thirty-one scores were logged by 16 shooters in two rounds of competition.
The wind was generally light, but as always, present.
Jackpots (score of 100 combined with a personal best) by Jared Beck in round 1 and Joe Bautz in round 2. Congratulations to both. It should be noted that as the season ends, there is no money remaining in the jackpot envelope.
Thanks to all who helped set-up, take down, did pit duty, and took their place on the firing line. A good time was definitely had by all.
