Dear LVSA Members and Friends:
After one month into the 2018 .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Fun Shoot the weather finally turned perfect. Skies featured a high overcast, temps were in the mid 60’s, and the wind was barely present; a near perfect day at the range as the scores showed.
Forty-seven matches were logged, seven with irons, 40 with scopes, this total equaled the highest logged so far in the eight years these matches have run. Congratulations to all shooters.
We welcomed new shooter Tony Simmers, and welcomed back Bruce Berg. Hopefully they will be able to schedule their Mondays to include these matches.
As always, many thanks to all who helped in any aspect of the match. These events run smoothly because of you. And of course many thanks to all who put their marksmanship skills to the test from the firing line. A good time was had by all.
Next week: same time, same place, and the weather is supposed to be better. Mark your calendars.
