Dear Fans of Great Shooting Conditions:
Precision Shooting guru Tony Boyer describes bench rest heaven as overcast skies, moderate temperatures, with a crosswind of constant direction and velocity. With the exception of the wind’s velocity which varied, today’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest match was contested under those conditions. The scores reflected this.
Thirty-four matches were logged, five with irons and 29 with scopes. As of this match, 5,021 matches have been logged in the eight years (161 matches) we have been running this series. Congratulations to all who have participated over the years.
Thanks as always to all who helped and shot. Special thanks to the Koppenhafers for sharing the bounty of their garden with us. It is truly appreciated.
