Dear Fans and Friends of SB BR Shooting:
Today’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest match was the 19th held this year. Twenty-one were scheduled but two were cancelled due to weather. Only four remain – so reserve your next four Monday afternoons to get some smallbore bench rest competition in before the 2019 season.
Thirty-seven matches were logged on this Labor Day Monday, four with irons, 33 with scopes.
The weather was sunny with mild temperatures, but Our Friend the Wind kept us on our toes. Luckily we have wind flags (26 were in use today) to counteract Our Friend’s fickleness both in intensity and direction.

Nancy York reported than our friend and shooting buddie Ron Valentine is in the hospital in Lander. Keep him in your thoughts. He is missed on the firing line.
