.22LR 50yd BR Results – 05.06.19

Dear Fans of .22LR 50yd BR Shooting:

The WeatherUndrground app was calling for thunderstorms by mid-afternoon, and indeed the skies were cloudy when we sat down at the firing line 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for the fourth .22LR 50yd Bench Rest match of the 2019 season.

A light rain started falling at the start of the second flight, enough so that I called a rain delay before the third. Luckily the skies cleared somewhat and the rain ended. The wind was its normal friendly self, which is switching and inconsistent – May in Wyoming.

Twenty-five scores were logged, five with irons and 20 with scopes. We welcomed Helen Nichols, Joe Nemick, and Dennis and Wanda Koppenhaafer for their first matches of the year. Hopefully they will make these events a regular part of their Monday afternoon schedules again this summer.

Many thanks to both shooters and helpers. You all make my job easy.
