SMALLBORE RIFLE GALLERY Winter 2014-2015
DATES: 2014 – Sat Nov 15, Sat Dec 13;
2015 – Sat Jan 10, Sat Feb 7.
TIME: Firing begins at 11:00 AM
PLACE: LVSA Indoor range at 775 Garfield St., Lander, WY; 1 block south of Mr. D’s Food Center on Main St. [State Highway 287]
TYPE: The 3 position matches are for the smallbore rifles [rule 3.2]. The matches will be fired at 50 feet on the NRA/USAS 50ft target. These are NRA approved matches
RULES: NRA rules will be used, hearing and eye protection recommended. Any sight, except juniors will use metallic sights in the 3 position match. Juniors wishing to shoot in the adult division may use any sight.
AWARDS: Will be cash or merchandise. One place for each 4 entries per class. Awards on aggregate only.
FEES: Registration $15.00 per shooter plus $5 entry fee. Fees for juniors are $10 total. NRA $4.50 per shooter included in fees listed.
CLASSIFICATION: NRA classification will be used.
COURSE of FIRE: 3 Position Match:
Stage 1— 20 shots prone, 20 minutes
Stage 2— 20 shots offhand, 40 minutes
Stage 3— 20 shots knelling, 30 minutes.
