The LVSA offers a Basic Pistol Marksmanship class each Fall.
This class runs from 7:00PM to 9:00PM on five Thursday evenings beginning the first Thursday in November (excluding Thanksgiving), at the indoor range located at 775 Garfield St.
The class is open to youths age 10 and up (10 and 11 year olds must be accompanied by an adult), as well as adults.
The class is based on the Progressive Pistol Program rules, and includes shooting from three seated positions and two standing positions.
This class meets the prior experience requirement for juniors to join the Lander Junior Rifle and Pistol Club’s pistol shooting program.
The cost is $20.00, and includes instruction, a text book, all neccessary equipment and targets, as well as ammunition.
