Dear .22LR BR Fans and Others:
After 36 hours of bad weather (Easter Sunday until noon on Monday), conditions improved enough to run the second .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Match of the 2019 season.
Skies were overcast, temps were cool (low 50’s), and Our Friend the Wind was as always present, but not as always, could be read and accommodated.
Thirty scores were logged, five with irons and 25 with scopes. As reported below, scores were high. Nice shooting.
We welcomed two new participants, Ross Anderson (Greg’s son), and Ken Nevins. Hopefully they will both become regulars.
We also had a first where Greg and Ross shot a match as Team Anderson. It should be noted that in the team effort, Ross shot the 200 while Greg came in with a 199.
