GENERAL INFORMATION
The Indoor Range is located at 775 Garfield St.
The Outdoor Range 3 mi north of Lander at 8474 State Hwy 789.
Unscheduled events must e approved by the Chief Range Officer and posted at the
Range for the two weeks prior to the event.
The outdoor Pistol Range is scheduled for use by Law Enforcement, Monday morning and Tuesday
through Friday during the day. The Rifle Range is available for use during those times.

    When is the indoor range open? Is it open to the public tomorrow?

      Colleen: The indoor range is open 24/7, but you have to have a key. Talk to Charlie Piette if you are in need of a key.

    Is the general public allowed to use the outdoor range?

      You need to be a member to use the range. You can be brought in by an existing member a few times, but membership is worthwhile and quite affordable. The range is locked, and members have a key.

    Do you have to be a member to shoot at the outdoor range?

      You can be brought in as a guest a limited number of times. Generally, membership is needed to use the range. Membership is extremely affordable and certainly worth having.

    I am a new member. After reading this I am confused as to when the outdoor pistol range is available. The way I read it (under General Information) the only time durning the week is Monday afternoon. Law enforcement uses it Monday morning and Tuesday through Friday durning the day. Is this correct?

      Travis– The outdoor pistol range is open quite a bit of the time. Charlie Piette sends out a schedule fairly frequently notifying members about the range schedule and any blocks on it due to law enforcement or other users reserving either the rifle or pistol range for specific use. We have not been updating the schedule on the website much lately. If you are a new member, as long as you gave an email address when you signed up, Charlie should get you on the mailing list. I will follow up with an email to you with the latest schedule. Thanks.
