LANDER JUNIOR RIFLE and PISTOL CLUB

CLUB RULES

Verbal, physical, or sexual harassment of others will not be allowed.

No cursing or foul language.

Do not damage club property, including walking on the prone mats.

Everyone is expected to help clean up.

Shoot your set of targets then move your equipment from the line when there are more than eight shooters.

Do not leave your equipment all over the range; make room for others.

For a first offense you will receive a verbal warning. Second time, you will be asked to leave for that night. Third time will be one week suspension of range privileges. Additional violations can result in membership suspension.

GOALS

Help young people develop:

Physically, by learning sport skills, improving physical conditioning, developing good health habits, and avoiding injuries.

Psychologically, by learning to control their emotions and to develop their feelings of self worth.

Socially, by learning how to cooperate in a competitive contest and by learning appropriate standards of behavior (sportsmanship).

Lifetime skills of thinking, goal setting, planning, organizing, concentrating, evaluating, and decision making.

Firearms safety skills.
