Dear LVSA Members Remembering Our Military Dead:
Today’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest match was a tale of our friend the wind. She varied in intensity as well as direction with unpredictable changes at unpredictable intervals. The proof is in the numbers. We had only one 200 scored today (Ron Valentine). The last time only one 200 was 16 matches ago back on July 27, 2015 (Tom Spriggs).
Even with the wind, 31 matches were logged, two with irons and 29 with scopes.
Tony Cross returned for his first match of the season. Hopefully we’ll see him on the firing line from here on out. Young Benaiah Dolence did the junior shooters proud by improving his match total by 25 points and six X’s. Congratulations, Ben.
