Dear Summer Solstice Celebrators:
The Summer Solstice edition of this year’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Fun Shoot is in the books. Thirty-six matches were logged (three in irons, 33 in scopes) on a beautiful, warm Wyoming afternoon. Our friend the wind was light to moderate in intensity and relatively constant in direction.
Scores were high. Every target – both irons and scopes – was 192 or higher. All match X counts were in double digits. Nice shooting, people.
It is good to see two of the club’s Junior shooters – Hez (age 11) and Ben (age 12) – on the firing line with us. If you have kids or grand kids (or great grandkids) who may be interested, bring them out. New, young blood is always welcome.
Thanks as always to all the helpers and all the shooters at today’s match. A good time was definitely had by all.
