LANDER VALLEY SPORTSMEN RIFLE SILHOUETTE

After the weather cancelled the Feb event, a good day was on tap for the 1st smallbore and high power rifle silhouette matches of the season. The sun tried to shine through, temp were in the 40’s and the increasing wind gave the flags a work out before the final high power shots were fired.
Shoot-outs were needed to resolve ties in three matches.
Each rifle class fired the 40 shot club course, using the 4 animal shaped targets at the proper NRA distances: 40 to 100 meters in .22LR and 200 meter to 500 meter in high power. Five men entered the smallbore competition and 4 also fired the high power.
