.22LR 50yd BR Results – 09.02.19

Dear Labor Day Celebrants:

The temperature at the pistol range was 96 degF in the shade at match time. Winds were forecast to be 15 to 20 mph all afternoon. And Labor Day activities too their toll on attendance at today’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Match, the 19^th held so far in 2019.

Only 18 scores were logged, three with irons and 15 with scopes. This was the lowest number all year. Let’s all plan on competing in at least one of the four remaining matches to bring the year’s numbers up.

Our Friend the Wind: the winds were not constant at 15 to 20, but I’m sure they reached those numbers frequently though out the match. On the plus side, they were mainly from the north. On the minus side, intensity varied continuously. Typical.

Thanks as always to the helpers and shooters. You make my job as Match Director easy.

The next match is scheduled for Mon Sept 9. See you then. You will not be disappointed.
