Dear Autumnal Equinox Fans:
A warm sunny day saw 33 matches logged (five in irons, 26 in scopes, two DNF’s) in today’s penultimate .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Fun Shoot. The 13mph winds did not materialize, but as always, the air was in motion – on some flights more than others.
We had three spectators today, one club member who we hope to have compete next week and next year, and a couple from Germany on their annual vacation trip to Wyoming. I told them we will have guns, ammo, rests, etc. ready for them next year.
Thanks to all who helped, thanks to Dennis K and his infinite garden, and thanks to all who sat down at the benches to test their skills and resolve. A good time was definitely had by all.
Remember, next Monday will be our last match of the 2016 season. It has been a good run, and it is never too late to get your first match in. One point on the curve is better than none.
