Wyoming USA Shooting Junior Olympic
Air Rifle, Air Pistol and Smallbore Championship Results
Youth convened at the Laramie County Shooting Sports Complex in Archer, Wyoming on Saturday, January 16th to compete in the 2016 Wyoming Junior Olympic Championship Match.
Hosted by Laramie County 4-H Shooting Sports and American Legion Post 6, the match drew 40 youth competitors from around the state. Great shooting was on display from representatives of five teams, including: American Legion Post 6 (Cheyenne), East HS JROTC, Natrona HS JROTC, Lander Junior Rifle and Pistol Club, and the Laramie County 4-H Shooters. Six state champions were crowned:

Champion plaques were sponsored by the Wyoming State Shooters Association and category medals were provided by American Legion Post 6.
Huge thanks go first to the fine folks at the Laramie County shooting Sports Complex for hosting with their excellent facilities. Thanks especially to Brad Wooden for coming early and staying late to make sure we had everything we needed! Thanks also to all the volunteers including: Tristanna Bickford, Doug Couch, Kerri Couch, Paul Dey, Amy Dey, Marin Dey, Troy Eberhardt, Nancy Eberhardt and Ron Swearingen. Finally, thanks to the competitors and their coaches for traveling to Cheyenne to compete shoulder to shoulder.
