Dear SB Bench Rest Fans:
Today’s .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Fun Shoot say forty-three matches logged, three with irons and 40 with scopes. This brings the total for the 2017 season to 183 matches logged, 14 with irons and 169 with scopes. Congratulations to all competitors.
The conditions were just about perfect. The sky was sunny, the temp was in the low 70’s, but the wind was uncooperative. Frequent switches in both intensity and direction were the norm. Speaking for myself, I would rather have a stronger wind from one direction rather than what we saw today – but then what is like without challenges (rhetorical question)?
We welcomed new shooter Adam Hartstein to the match. Hopefully he will be able to keep Monday afternoons free for shooting.
