Dear 600yd HP Fans:
Cool temperatures and light winds greeted the competitors in today’s Mid-Range Challenge. Our Rock Springs crowd (Pat S and Dan M) threatened to bring rain and wind with them but luckily home field conditions prevailed.
Twenty-eight scores were logged, 15 in Match #1, 13 in Match #2.
We were pleased to welcome Bruce Berg’s niece, Allison Overfelt, to the firing line. She is up from San Antonio visiting the Berg family and cheering on her cousins and their County Fair entries.
Allison only shot one X in her second match, but a picture of that X is attached. This should be labeled “Don’t Mess with Texas,”
Many thanks to all who helped set-up, worked the pit, cleaned up, and of course shot the match. You are truly appreciated, and a good time was definitely had by all.
The next Mid-Range Challenge will be held Saturday Aug 18. Watch your email for details.
