Dear Fans of 100yd Winter BR Shooting:
The old adage, “if you don’t like the weather just wait . . .” was never more true at today’s .22LR 100yd Bench Rest Winter Match. The first relay was contested under bright blue skies, 40 deg temps, and very little wind. But the threatening conditions to the north soon overcame the range. The later relays saw cold and windy conditions.
Eleven scores were logged, one in irons, eight in scopes, and two scope DNF’s.
My thanks to all who helped (the 100yd match take more effort than the 50yd matches) and all who shot (definitely more effort required here).
The second match in this five match series will be held on Saturday Dec 15. Watch your email for details.
