Dear LVSA Members and Friends of .22LR 50yd BR Shooting:
The first match of the .22LR 50yd Bench Rest 2019 season was contested today under partly cloudy skies, moderate temps, and an interesting wind varying in both intensity and direction. Sometimes it is hard to remember that the Wind is our friend.
Thirty-four scores were logged, five with scopes, 28 with scopes and one DNF.
We welcomed three new shooters: Molly Samietz, Keegan Dentici, and George Kerst. Also, there were several spectators (who are always welcome). Hopefully all will return as competitors as the season develops.
Many thanks to all who helped and all who challenged the conditions from the firing line.
The next match will be Monday Apr 22. Plan to be there. A good time will definitely be had by all.
