Dear Fans of Smallbore 100yd BR Shooting:
The final .22LR 100yd Winter Bench Rest Match of the 2018/2019 season was contested today under near perfect conditions.
There was wind, more than the 3mph forecast by WeatherUnderground, but nothing we have not encountered before. Skies were sunny, and temps were quite pleasant.
Fifteen matches were logged, two with irons and 13 with scopes, bringing the season’s total to 68 scores logged in five matches (9 irons, 59 scopes).
We welcomed one new shooter, Ross Anderson (Greg’s son), to the firing line today. Hopefully he will find time in his Monday afternoon’s schedule to compete in the .22LR 50yd Bench Rest Matches which begin on Monday April 15.
As always, many thanks to all who helped this season with these events, and special thanks to all who braved the cold to take their places on the firing line. You are truly appreciated.
