Dear Mid-Range Shooters and Friends:
Today’s Mid-Range Challenge was contested in rather nice conditions, cool temps, sunny to partly cloudy skies (threatening as the match neared its conclusion), and best of all, light to moderate winds.
We had more flags and wind indicators down range today than in any previous matches in my memory.
Twenty-nine scores were logged in two matches.
We had one new shooter today, Mark LeFaivre, up from Rock Springs. Hopefully he (and the entire Rock Springs crew) will take their places on the firing line as the season unfolds.
It takes a lot of effort to put on these matches. The cheerful volunteer efforts of our shooters are truly appreciated.
The next Mid-Range Challenge will be held on Saturday June 15. Plan to be there. Spectators are always welcome.
Charlie Piette
