.22LR 50yd BR Results – 09.30.19

Dear .22LR 50yd BR Shooters, Friends, Foes, and Others:

The 2019 .22LR 50yd Bench Rest season is a wrap. Season’s statistics will be complied and emailed later this week.

There were thirty-one scores logged today, five with irons and 26 with scopes for a total of 31. That is the average we’ve seen throughout the year.

There is a general sense that the wind usually starts blowing when we start shooting then quiets down near the end. Today’s match started with a very short-lived gust of wind, but then settled down for about 2/3 of the match. Then it became interesting. Good thing we have our Velocimeters in place to help us cope.

As Match Director, I would like to thank all who helped, all who shot, and all who spectated. You assured that good times were had by all.

The first .22LR 100yd Winter Bench Rest match is scheduled for Sat. Nov 16. Plan to be there. Watch your email for details.
