LVSA RIFLE SILHOUETTE RESULTS
JUNE 15, 2014
Two shooters elected to extend the program to 60 shots with the small bore rifles. First on the line were the hunting rifles under bright clear skies. The sun had taken the frost from the grass and from the bridge. The flags danced and fluttered every which way but never indicated much strength in the air movement. At 9:30AM the temperature was 60.
Lander Valley Sportsmen’s range allowed a marathon match with each match being shot without needing time out to re-set.
Anthony Fuller, Wheatland fired 34 in hunting and 24 in standard to claim AA honors. Roger Sebesta eked a hunting win with 35 and took standard with 34. Fuller tallied 3 five-in-a-row pins; 2 on rams and 1 on pigs.
The National matches at the Whittington Center, Raton, NM will occur July 14 to 20; therefore no Lander July event.
The State Championships will be in Lander Aug 23-24. All safe shooters welcome. See a full program on lvsa.info or contact rjsebesta@yahoo.com.
