Mid-Range Challenge Results 08.02.14

Dear LVSA Members:

Eleven shooters showed up for the August Mid-Range Challenge.

An unusually high number of “possible” scores were recorded. In the history of the match, nine “possible” scores have been recorded. In the first match fired on August 2, four “possibles” were shot. There were three 100 – 5X scores. To decide the match winner and jackpot recipient, the Creedmore Rule was applied. Callahan Healy’s last shot fired was an X, so he won the match and the cash in the jackpot. Did I mention that Callahan was one of two Juniors who shot the match.

Also worthy of note: the 100 – 5X fired by Ron Collins was shot with a sporter style rifle in 6mm Remington. THis is the first time the Match Director can recall a “possible” with a sporter.

Thanks to all who showed up. Shooting is a great sport because of you.
