Put the final 3P Gallery match of the season into the books. Once again a small turn out did their best against the ‘impossible’ NRA/USA 50 target. Maximum score would be 600 after the 20 shots in each position: prone, standing, and kneeling.
Master and multi-national record holder, Kenneth Lankford, Laramie, posted 551 for the match win. Kyle Carper, Riverton, put 510 on the score board to win the Marksman class. Kyle recently earned a trip to CO Springs Olympic Training Center while shooting the Wyoming Junior Olympics Championships. Taking Sharpshooter with 491 was Roger Sebesta who doubts he’ll ever learn to shoot kneeling. The book says it is nearly as stable as prone.
